60-second check

Find out what you qualify for before a bank ever sees your name

Lenders work to a FOIR — the share of your monthly income that may go towards EMIs. Most cap it at 50%, some stretch to 65% for higher incomes. Our checker applies the same arithmetic they do, on your device, with nothing sent anywhere and no impact on your credit score.

The numbers, unspun

Calculators that actually compute

Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is logged, and there is no sign-up wall between you and an answer.

Systematic investment plan projection

Assumed returns are an illustration, never a promise.

Market-linked

Indian equity index funds have historically delivered 11–13% over long periods. Past performance does not indicate future returns.

Projected value ₹50,45,760

Total invested₹18,00,000 Estimated gains₹32,45,760

Mutual fund investments are subject to market risk. Read all scheme-related documents carefully. Projections assume a constant rate of return, which markets never deliver. YouBankingBuddy does not provide investment advice or recommend any scheme.

Know your number

Your credit score decides your interest rate

The gap between a 690 and a 780 score on a ₹50 lakh home loan is roughly ₹9.4 lakh in extra interest over twenty years. Here is what each band means in practice.

300 – 579 Poor Most mainstream lenders decline. Secured cards and a 12-month repayment record are the way back.
580 – 669 Fair Approval possible with an NBFC, but expect 4–7 percentage points above the best card rate.
670 – 739 Good Banks will lend. You are unlikely to receive the advertised headline rate without negotiation.
740 – 799 Very good Card rates on offer, processing fees frequently waived on request. Most applicants sit here.
800 – 900 Excellent Best published rate, pre-approved offers, and genuine room to negotiate the spread down.

What moves it up

  • Paying every EMI and card bill in full, on or before the due date
  • Keeping credit utilisation under 30% of your total limit
  • Holding older accounts open — length of history carries weight

What drags it down

  • Paying only the minimum due, month after month
  • Applying to five lenders in a fortnight — each is a hard enquiry
  • Settling a loan rather than closing it fully

What does not affect it

  • Checking your own score — that is a soft enquiry
  • Your salary, savings balance or investment portfolio
  • Using a debit card or UPI, however heavily
How it works

Four steps, no salesperson

We are paid a referral fee by lenders when an application we route is disbursed. That fee is identical across every partner on a given product, so nothing on this site is ranked by what it pays us. If a lender offers to pay for placement, we say no — and we say so publicly.

Illustrative only. The upper curve shows compounding growth, the lower one a simple-interest path over the same period.

What people say after the call

Collected through our post-consultation survey. Full names published with consent.

“I had already signed up for a home loan at 9.15%. The buddy on the call spotted that a balance transfer after twelve months would cost me nothing and save ₹6.8 lakh. She talked me out of two products the same afternoon.”
Ananya KrishnanProduct manager · Bengaluru
“Running a two-crore turnover business, I assumed my current account was fine. The comparison showed I was paying ₹94,000 a year in cash handling charges that a different bank simply does not levy.”
Devendra PatilFounder, packaging unit · Pune
“The SIP calculator here is the only one I found that says plainly that the projection is not a promise. That single line made me trust everything else on the site.”
Farhan SheikhAssistant professor · Hyderabad
Where we stand

What we are, and what we are not

Financial comparison sites in India rarely state this plainly, so we will.

Not a bank or NBFC

We hold no banking or lending licence. We never take custody of your money and we cannot sanction, approve or reject any application.

Not an investment adviser

Nothing on this site is investment advice or a recommendation to buy any scheme. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risk. Speak to a SEBI-registered adviser before investing.

Your data stays yours

Calculators run in your browser and store nothing. Enquiry details go only to the lender you choose, and we never sell a contact list. See our Privacy Policy.

Flat referral fees only

Our fee is the same across every partner on a given product, so ranking is never for sale. We publish this on our About page and will keep publishing it.

Common questions

The things people ask us first

No. Comparisons, calculators and consultation calls are free to you, always. We are paid a flat referral fee by a lender only if an application we route is disbursed, and that fee is identical across every partner on a given product — so nothing on this site is ranked by what it pays us.

Not at all. Our eligibility checker is pure arithmetic running in your browser — we do not contact any credit bureau, so there is no hard enquiry and no footprint on your report. A hard enquiry only occurs later, when you formally apply with a lender.

No, and we will never claim otherwise. Every rate, fee and offer shown is indicative, drawn from lender-published schedules on the date stamped beside it, and is subject to change without notice. Your final pricing depends on your credit score, income, employment type, loan-to-value and the lender's internal policy on the day you apply.

We cannot, and we will not. YouBankingBuddy is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, and nothing on this site is investment advice or a recommendation to buy any scheme. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risk — read all scheme-related documents carefully. We explain how SIPs, expense ratios and fund categories work; the decision, and a conversation with a registered adviser, remain yours.

Your enquiry is recorded on our own server and shared only with the lender you choose to proceed with. We do not sell contact lists to anyone. You may ask us to delete your record at any time by writing to info@catalystwebtrendz.com, and we action such requests within one working day. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
